Squiggles for squiggles sake?
Maths has a bad rep. Mostly because of how it’s taught, learnt and presented in the media. It’s a language and a tool. Most of it is very natural and it’s just learning the language of notation to represent things. If ever maths is abstract, its just to be as general as possible, to allow for greater application in problem solving. Or for the pride felt by doing something difficult and complex, unfortunately.
